3+ years expTential Solutions is seeking an IT Migration Engineer to participate in the planning, design, and management of email and data migration during large acquisitions. The role involves supporting the migration of email to Exchange Online and assisting with data migrations from external sources to Box, requiring strong knowledge in email systems and DNS.

Responsibilities
Assist with the migration of mailboxes from multiple external sources to one or more managed Exchange Online tenants
Assisting in the planning and execution of the migration process, ensuring minimal disruption to users and business operations
Collaborating with senior engineers, internal teams, and external partners to assess current mailbox configurations and requirements for migration
Providing escalation support to end-users during the migration process, addressing any issues or concerns promptly
Documenting migration procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference
Act as the primary engineer to migrate data from external sources to a centralized, managed Box instance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent IT work experience (3+ years)
3+ years' experience with Microsoft Exchange Online, including migrations
Experience managing and performing data migrations using Box Shuttle
3+ years' experience with ProofPoint Email Protection with an understanding of DKIM, SPF, and DMARC
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Experience using BitTitan MigrationWiz for mailbox migration to Exchange Online
Experience with Box migrations using Box Shuttle
Extensive experience configuring and troubleshooting end user clients (Outlook and MS Teams) on multiple platforms (Windows, MacOS, iOS & Android)
Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
Ability to explain technical procedures in business terms for non-technical stakeholders
Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience
Experience with Jira, Miro and Confluence a plus
Preferred
Current industry certifications strongly encouraged, with a focus on: Exchange Online, Entra ID and Security, Box
Able to solve complex technical problems through sound and methodical troubleshooting
