The Department of Human Development and Family Studies is seeking two tenure-track Assistant Professors to maintain an active research program, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and provide mentoring and service to the department.

Required

Doctoral degree in the field of Human Development and Family Studies or a closely related field such as Psychology, Sociology, Education, Biobehavioral Health, or Public Health

Record of scholarly publication and competence in related research methodology
Strong potential to obtain external funding for research

Preferred

Record of scholarly publication representing a clear research portfolio
Evidence of success in applying for or securing research funding
Strong methodological expertise
Demonstrated skills in undergraduate and graduate teaching
Evidence of mentoring in support of student success, including students of diverse backgrounds (e.g., racial, socioeconomic, first-generation, cultural)
The potential to collaborate with colleagues around departmental teaching, mentoring, and research activities
