Senior Billing Analyst
Hightower is a wealth management firm that provides investment, financial and retirement planning services. As a Senior Billing Analyst, you will assist with onboarding and termination of accounts related to advisory fee billing, while collaborating with various teams to support reporting and analysis, manage risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Compile quarterly termination analyses to identify and remediate accounts eligible for refunds. Communicate findings to advisor teams and prepare supporting documentation for final assessments
Communicate and collaborate effectively with advisor teams to ensure alignment and support across the termination process
Assist with processing of account terminations, ensuring precise calculations and processing of fees and refunds for clients
Perform billing test runs and conduct detailed analyses for onboarding advisory businesses, ensuring accurate establishment of fee attributes and proper system setup
Respond to advisor team inquiries regarding billing and provide resolution
Maintain accurate and organized integration and billing onboarding/termination records, supporting documentation, and audit trails to facilitate internal and external audits
Support project-based initiatives by ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout all phases of the project
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and innovation
Assist in governing, adhering, and reporting on internal controls and procedures to maintain regulatory standards, ensure compliance, and reduce errors. Track and support remediation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Billing Analyst or similar role
Strong understanding of billing principles, financial analysis, and relevant software applications
Proficiency in billing operations and related accounting systems (e.g. Envestnet Wealth Management software, Black Diamond, etc.)
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
Strong organizational skills
High level of proficiency in Microsoft suite, including Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, etc.), Word, Outlook
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and interact with clients professionally
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Financial services industry and RIA experience preferred
