Responsibilities

Inspect product to ensure quality; set aside product that is below quality standards
Work closely with Leads and alert the Team Leader or Supervisor of any quality issues or reject conditions. Timely response to quality issues is key to this position
Notify the Team Leader of any safety, machinery, raw material, quality, preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, packaging or documentation concerns
Document information correctly on the reports for production and any downtime
Follow proper packaging procedures for printed product to ensure damage does not occur through shipping
Responsible for proper labeling of printed product being packaged for shipment
Informed as to what production is expected of a printing machine to ensure production goals are met
Makes basic machine adjustments to maintain a quality print
Various other duties as assigned
