They are seeking a Senior Graphic Designer who will create innovative visual storytelling for promotions and advertisements while collaborating with communications and marketing staff to uphold the University’s brand standards.

Responsibilities

Generates innovative visual storytelling ideas for special projects
Remains abreast of technological advances in the field and identifies areas of use in the organization
Manipulates graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs
Routes files for approval and releases organized files to production management when approved
Works with management to monitor quality, content, and effectiveness
Supervises and mentors junior staff and reports any issues to appropriate managing staff
Acts as a consultant on best practices including maintaining brand standards
Guides the creative strategy for the overall look-and-feel of the University’s brand
Oversees creative design budget and timeline to ensure compliance with set parameters
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant field required
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required
Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
