Advise on environmental provisions of M&A agreements and environmental insurance policies
Prepare diligence reports and draft/negotiating environmental provisions in transactional documents
Collaborate closely with deal teams to manage transactions from start to finish
Provide strategic guidance on environmental risks in complex deals
Qualification
Required
Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
6–9 years of transactional experience, ideally with environmental components
Strong writing and interpersonal skills
Excellent academic credentials (3.5 GPA or above)
Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure, fast-paced deal environments
Solid tenure; frequent job changes are a non-starter
Preferred
Experience drafting and negotiating environmental provisions in M&A agreements
Background in environmental organizations or in-house roles with transactional exposure
Familiarity with environmental insurance policies
