Mid LevelTRIMARK CORPORATION is seeking a Process Engineer (Assembly) to improve assembly processes through analysis and strategic planning. The role involves identifying inefficiencies, conducting operational analysis, and collaborating with management to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities
Analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies
Spend time on the production floor analyzing both employee and machinery workflow to find out where the process can be streamlined for lower costs and higher productivity
Assist in the monitoring of government requirements (EPA, OSHA, etc.) to ensure work centers are in compliance with established standards
Interact with individuals throughout the company, as well as individuals external to the company
Identify and/or generate all documentation related to the integration of new products into the production environment
Perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing process design, set up and tooling. Identification of subsequent changes to manufacturing and assembly drawings, as necessary
Optimize processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity
Provide the proper documentation in the assembly and maintenance along with other technical files to the Maintenance & Facilities Engineer before project completion
Monitor the new procedures and report successes and failures to the Director of Operations or Assembly Manager at project completion
Actively promote process improvement to ensure compliance to industry standards and regulations and to secure the future business position in the marketplace
Attend meetings and contribute to new product design review
Support the continual improvement and compliance of QMS and EMS
Perform job functions in a manner that supports TriMark’s mission, vision, and values
Qualification
Required
Previous experience and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing and assembly
Ability to analyze current production procedures and standards to identify inefficiencies
Ability to interact with individuals throughout the company, as well as individuals external to the company
Skills in human relations
Excellent communication skills, including both written and oral
Ability to perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing process design, set up and tooling
Optimization of processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity
Project Management Skills - Manage projects and ensure goals are met and address scope, budget, and schedule
Process Monitoring - Develops and uses systems to organize and keep track of work progress
Teamwork - Works cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions
Strategic planning skills – Knows how to think ahead and can see the big picture when planning new manufacturing or assembly processes
Project Management Experience – Knows how to run a project from start to finish involving cross-functional team members and stakeholders
Critical thinking – Can approach a process while considering it from all angles
