Studio Producer

Wellcom Worldwide is seeking a Studio Producer to manage the day-to-day operations, client communications, and production logistics for food photography and creative projects. The role involves being the main point of contact for clients and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for major clients
Lead weekly team huddles and client pre-production meetings to discuss project status and upcoming briefs
Send weekly status reports and schedule updates to clients regarding studio calendars and upcoming shoots
Maintain and sync multiple studio and client-specific calendars
Coordinate with food stylists and assistants for shoot preparation
Manage specialized software system for client projects and coordinate with the external edit team
Handle all shoot-day logistics, including shopping for photography-grade food items, setting up lighting and equipment, and managing hospitality for in-house clients
Create and manage project folders in Workamajig and file servers
Develop detailed shot lists including ratios, surface/background preferences, recipes, and prop requirements
Track shoot budgets in real-time and collect receipts
Ensure all project billing is accurate and closed out promptly
Maintain a tidy and organized studio environment, including the kitchen, prop room, and client work areas
Manage office supplies, handle mail, and ensure the studio is locked and secured after shoots
Oversee the cleanup of dishes, props, and equipment following successful productions

Required

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills for professional client interaction
Experience with project management software (Workamajig and Creative Force preferred) and Google Workspace
A keen eye for detail, especially regarding food styling and photography requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks such as setting up studio equipment or grocery shopping for shoots
