Responsibilities
Be able to self-perform and assist others in performing the required work at any stage of a project from schematic design through construction administration
Perform calculations, sketches, drawing production, specifications, and multi-discipline coordination on a regular basis
Conduct observations of and evaluate existing conditions in both the field and via existing historical drawings
Work on multiple projects concurrently that require coordination of work between multiple EXP offices, as well as outside consultants
Perform occasional short-term travel to project sites, usually a single night or two at a time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field plus 5 years related experience
Conduct vibration studies and modal analyses of internal staircases of a building that are at a risk of resonance or dynamic loads
Analyze, design and ensure stability of structural screenwall systems to resist large wind loads
Estimate loads and analyze raft and pile foundation system subjected to seismic and hydrostatic loads in earthquake-prone zones using relevant building codes like the IBC and ASCE 7
Analyze and design concrete roof systems when subjected to heavy snow loads
