Responsibilities
Program 5-axis mills, lathes, and multi-task machines with live tooling for production and prototype work
Develop machining strategies for steel alloy materials, including toolpath selection and parameter optimization
Create, prove out, and revise CNC programs to meet print requirements and production targets
Support machining operations with setup documentation, tooling requirements, and revision control
Troubleshoot machining issues and implement program or process changes to improve part quality and throughput
Qualification
Required
5+ years CNC programming experience using Mastercam
5-axis CNC programming capability for milling and lathe machines
Experience programming multi-task (mill/turn) machines with live tooling
Experience machining steel alloys
Ability to support shops with existing 3-axis and 4-axis programming environment
High school or equivalent (Required)
Mastercam programming: 5 years (Required)
