Business Development and Membership Sales Associate
HIA-LI is growing our team and seeking a Business Development and Membership Sales Associate to help drive membership growth and event sponsorship sales. This role is ideal for a confident sales professional who excels on the phone and is comfortable engaging prospective members and sponsors in person at HIA-LI events.
Responsibilities
Selling HIA-LI memberships through proactive outbound email and phone outreach
Selling event sponsorships and advertising opportunities tied to HIA-LI programs and events
Attending HIA-LI events to engage prospective members and sponsors and strengthen relationships
Building and maintaining strong relationships with members and prospects
Conducting follow-up calls, renewals, and referral outreach
Qualification
Required
Excellent phone presence and communication skills
Strong organizational, follow-up, and relationship-building skills
Self-starter with a professional, outgoing demeanor
Preferred
Sales or business development experience preferred
