CRH is the largest building materials company in North America, and they are seeking an Industrial Hygiene Intern for Spring/Summer 2026. This temporary position involves supporting operations personnel by conducting industrial health sampling and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct Industrial Health Sampling to evaluate worker potential exposure to noise and irrespirable silica

Support employees in safely providing the preferred source to customers

Knowledgeable/Familiar with MSHA/OSHA standards

Conduct on site safety inspections and incident investigations

Provide detailed reports and assistance to operations supervisors

Facilitate onboarding for new hires, ensuring new employees are equipped with necessary resources and training

Coordinate and deliver safety training programs aligned with company standards and regulatory requirements

Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records

Manage and administer the Tyfoom platform

Conduct or participate in safety training, mock audits, and other duties as assigned

Required

Ability to follow verbal and written instruction

Ability to do complex math, and apply logical analysis to complex issues

Must have working knowledge of /be proficient in use of computer software including: Microsoft Office Suite & Outlook

Standard Driver's License and reliable vehicle are required

Preferred

Preference given to completed courses in Industrial Hygiene sampling methods and exposure routes

One to two years of college courses in related field

One to two years previous related experience/training in the field is a plus
