They are seeking a skilled Workday Finance System Administrator to optimize and maintain their Workday Financial Management platform, ensuring efficient financial operations across various functions.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary administrator of Workday Financials, owning configuration, maintenance and ongoing enhancements
Manage and optimize modules such as Workday Studio, General Ledger, Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Inventory Accounting, Adaptive Planning, Assets, and Project Costing
Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Supply Chain Operations to automate processes, resolve system issues, and drive system enhancements
Support period-end close processes, ensure transactional data integrity, and provide insights for distribution cost analysis, product margins, and supply chain expenses
Design and maintain custom reports and dashboards that support real-time decision-making across finance and operations
Oversee user access and security roles, ensuring compliance with internal controls and industry regulations (e.g., SOX)
Lead and participate in Workday releases, regression testing, and new functionality rollouts to support business growth
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to manage and troubleshoot integrations with inventory systems, ERP platforms, supplier portals, and 3PL tools
Partner with IT and Data Governance teams to ensure consistency and integrity of financial master data

Required

5+ years of Workday Financials experience

Deep knowledge of financial modules with experience in distribution cost accounting, procurement workflows, and inventory tracking
Experience supporting complex, multi-location operations, preferably in food distribution, logistics, CPG, or supply chain
Proven track record of building scalable, compliant finance processes using Workday
Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to work across departments in a matrixed environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including system administration, Workday Integration Cloud, Workday Studio, and module configurations

Preferred
