Sales Engineer

Supreme Integrated Technology, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned company specializing in custom systems for hydraulic and electric powered movable structures. The Sales Engineer will start with an inside sales role, learning about customers and products, and will eventually transition to an outside sales role, supporting customer communication and project management while gaining hands-on experience in engineering and production.

Responsibilities

Support outside sales with customer communication, system specification and project management
Manage relationships with key clients to ensure client satisfaction and develop confidence with client relations
Order entry, project management and order tracking in P21 ERP system
Work with engineering to assist with system drawings and component specifications
Learn about products, systems and vendors to develop a high level of fluid power & application knowledge
Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001:2015 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or comparable experience
Up to two (2) years of experience in sales, customer service, or technical fields
Laser customer focus to add value to customers, exceed expectations and deliver promised results to clients
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Technical aptitude to learn about fluid power/electrical applications and systems
Selling skills, including ability to uncover opportunities, determine ways to provide value to customers and overcome obstacles to upsell/cross sell/win new business
Detail oriented to manage customer projects, deadlines and shipments

Preferred

Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Tech or Industrial Distribution degrees preferred
Previous experience in hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, or automotive repair strongly preferred
Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus
