Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining financial records in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
Assist with lease accounting under ASC 842 and coordinate audits
Prepare reports for banks, auditors, vendors, and insurance providers
Oversee AP, AR, and treasury functions for accuracy and efficiency
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
Assist with multi-state taxation, including sales and use tax returns
Collaborate with external CPA firms for compliance
Support implementation and monitoring of internal controls
Assist with annual budgeting and financial forecasting
Prepare analyses for KPIs, capital expenditures, and operational performance
Conduct cost variance analysis and identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with operations
Provide guidance on expenses, budgets, and best practices
Assist with integrating acquisitions into the financial framework
Support process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
2-5 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct or similar)
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling)
Preferred
multi-location experience
CPA or CMA
Familiarity with PowerBI for reporting
