Skywalk Global is seeking a Senior Powerbuilder Developer to support and maintain the IRMS legacy systems and develop interfaces during the modernization period. The role involves working collaboratively in a team environment to analyze and implement the GenTax–IRMS interface under the direction of the Virginia Department of Taxation management.

Provide analysis, support, and maintenance for the IRMS legacy system

Develop and implement the GenTax–IRMS interface

Work collaboratively in a team environment

Interact with a multi-disciplined team to clarify analyze, assess requirements

Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions

Design and develop clear and maintainable code

Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder

Contribute to detailed design and architectural discussions as well as customer requirements sessions to support the implementation PowerBuilder Applications

Hands-on experience developing Powerbuilder applications using PowerBuilder 12.5 or higher Required 7 Years

Design and develop clear and maintainable code Required 5 Years

Team Foundation (Azure Dev Ops) Server and it's use to support version control, and application lifecycle management Required 5 Years

Experience working with Agile/scrum project management methodologies Required 2 Years

Able to work independently as well as in a teamwork environment Required 2 Years

Pay attention to details and have a result driven mind set Required 2 Years

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. Able to coordinate with other application development teams, team leads business analysts. Required 2 Years

Hands-on experience using Relational Databases, such as Oracle 19C or higher or MySQL or similar Required 7 Years
