Responsibilities

Conduct inspections in accordance with specifications

Verify completion of assigned tasks and adherence to work instructions

Review drawings and assess physical conditions

Perform line inspections, including incoming inspections and inspection of parts to specifications

Generate non-conforming reports, detailing failures and measurements as required

Assign each part a conformity ticket, ensuring correct identification numbers and traceability to raw materials

Collaborate with Inventory/Shipping teams to address any missed parts

Capture and report relevant metrics

Maintain or execute the calibration program by submitting tickets to suppliers

Enter data from tools into various systems

Weekly reporting of metrics in team meetings

80% of the time spent on other tasks

Utilize IPC certifications (20% of the time)

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for investigating failures

Qualification

Root Cause AnalysisAerospace Industry ExperienceProblem-SolvingDocumentation SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Minimum 2 years of Industry experience, preferably in aerospace (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed, Airforce, FAA)

Demonstrate ownership of goals and problem-solving capabilities (Bias for action)

Experience identifying Root Cause in failures

Strong written/communication skillset as there is a lot of documentation
