They are seeking an Equipment Maintenance Apprentice to learn and assist in the maintenance of aircraft production equipment, while participating in concurrent study at a technical school to develop into a fully proficient technician.

Responsibilities

Works directly with machine operators to learn basic functionality and operations of all aircraft related production equipment

Assists with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures of operational equipment and apply corrective action to resolve re-occurring issues

Performs Preventive Maintenance and assigned repairs with close guidance and direction

Assists in performing repairs and corrective maintenance to equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability so that the equipment is capable of operating within the required specifications

Daily input of required data in CMMS system for machine reliability and control

Participates in all OEM training activities as required by area of assignment

Perform other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED required

Must be eligible to enroll at designated technical school

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Currently enrolled or able to enroll at Savannah Technical College in a relevant technical program is highly desirable

Previous experience working at Gulfstream Aerospace is highly desirable
