The role involves extensive API development, architecture, design, and development of next-generation applications, as well as mentoring team members and collaborating closely with business analysts and project managers.

Responsibilities
Senior Full Stack developer who will be responsible for several web applications leveraging React front end and the Spring Boot back end
Extensive API development using Spring Boot
Web Service Development – Rest and Soap using Spring Boot
Architecture, design and development of next generation applications
Rewriting existing web applications using Spring Boot
Maintenance, support, refactoring, and ownership of existing java code bases
Assist with customer deployments using both manual and automated DevOps methodologies
Works closely with business analysts and project managers to understand business domains and requirements
Team Leader - assist and mentor other team members. Conduct code and design reviews
Crucial team member for designing and building a new application stack
Participate and lead customer facing meetings, specifically for application reviews and technical interface discussion for integration projects
Working with onshore and offshore resources
Qualification
Required
BS required/MS preferred (Degrees preferably in Computer Science or related field)
Experience must include 8 years of designing, developing and supporting Spring Boot based web applications
Expert competency in Java and Spring Boot
Must have solid experience in using JPA and Hibernate
Proficiency in designing and building Rest and SOAP rest services
Web Front end development using React, Spring MVC, Thymeleaf, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, Bootstrap, CSS
Experience with Server-Side rendering using Next.js
Ability to design and architect technical solutions from business requirements
Experience developing applications utilizing MS SQL Server and MySQL databases including extensive SQL query development, table design, and performance tuning
Demonstrated proficiency using design patterns and the development of component frameworks
Excellent verbal / written communications and analytic problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with Web and Application Servers: Tomcat, NGINX, Wildfly, httpd
Experience developing applications for the Criminal Justice domain area
Experience deploying applications to AWS using EC2, RDS and Cognito
Experience building pipelines with Jenkins
