Strategic Account Manager
Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Manager who will work alongside Account Executives to support business development and account growth. The role involves developing digital marketing strategies and managing client campaigns to achieve superior outcomes and foster client retention.

Responsibilities
Manage accounts from strategic planning through campaign reconciliation and wrap up, with primary ownership of the post-sale phases of the campaign lifecycle
Maintain strong relationships with Sales and Clients
Prepare & present campaign reports that tell data-driven stories to clients with thoughtful insights, including monthly reports and wrap decks
Creation & execution of client campaigns resulting in superior outcomes for the client and in accordance with digital revenue goals from start to finish
Review and organize client assets for Activation teams to set up and launch the campaign successfully
Monitor campaign pacing and performance, alerting activation team on questions
Manage communication with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure campaigns meet client KPIs, with an end focus on retention, renewal and growth
Resolve campaign issues in a proactive and timely manner, utilizing resources effectively and escalating technical issues when needed
Ability to assist sales executives in developing and presenting client proposals
Experience collaborating with teammates and utilizing all resources available
Become the subject matter expert at the station, with the ability to speak expertly to Search / PPC campaigns, Programmatic Display and Video, and Social campaigns providing thoughtful analysis and recommendations
Must be a motivated, enthusiastic, self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaborating in a team environment
Strong skills in presentation, problem solving, verbal & written communication, organization and negotiation
Time management and ability to juggle multiple account executives and clients’ needs with attention to detail
Experience collaborating with teammates and utilizing all resources available
Ability to interact with high-level decision makers
Qualification
Required
Digital sales or digital strategy experience
Ability to master Nexstar's state-of-the-art proprietary tools to develop solutions, proposals, and presentations for existing clients and prospects

Training/Equipment: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), Data Visualization Tools, Google Analytics, DSPs, DFP/Google Ad Manager, Zoom
Preferred
Bachelor's degree (marketing or advertising preferred), or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in Account/Campaign Management or Digital Marketing related experience
