Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Programmer to support our clients' production operations. The role involves developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs for metal cutting and machining processes, requiring technical expertise and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to support efficient machining operations

Optimize machining processes to improve part quality, tool life, and production efficiency

Support production teams in meeting daily safety, quality, and performance targets

Coordinate multiple projects while ensuring minimal disruption to operations

Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes using logic and structured problem-solving

Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and production staff

Maintain compliance with safety standards, company policies, and best practices

Contribute to a clean, organized, and productive work environment

Required

3–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience

Supervisory experience is a plus

Strong understanding of CNC machining and metal cutting processes

Experience using CAD software to create and modify G-code programs

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Strong communication and analytical skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices

Knowledge of common CNC machine controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens)

Strong organizational and time management skills
