Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day operations for all of our medical offerings
Work with insurance carriers to resolve escalated issues - enrollment errors, plan coding issues, and other discrepancies, escalating trends to the Team Lead
Collect plan and pricing data from carriers, and work within the carriers' systems to enroll groups and individuals timely
Consistent urgency, ownership, and proactive communication with partners and vendors
Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to improve systems and resolve issues
Assist Team Lead with new-hire training and mentoring new members
Flag trends and bugs to the Team Lead and Manager, partnering with both to understand the scope and impact of the issue and drive operational efficiencies
Identify and remediate problems by developing and updating standard operating procedures
Build out and maintain internal benefit resources (help articles, Confluence, training decks, process documentation, etc.)
Resolve complex benefit inquiries/issues generated by Customer Success and Sales teams within the agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs)
Adhere to vendor and internal partner SLAs
Triage incoming issues/inquiries to identify the need for additional intervention and escalate accordingly
Maintain vendor relationships by leading conference calls, setting agenda items, and corresponding with account managers
Execute regular filing and/or any additional regulatory duties
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role
Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Experience working cross-functionally
Experience with partnership management
Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar software
Ability to work both independently and as a team
Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Preferred
Partnership management experience
SQL knowledge
Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans strongly preferred
