Principle Specialist, Commodity Management & Sourcing

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule cost proposal efforts
Coordination of cost, schedule, and technical data for the development of the proposal in line with the specifications of the Request for Proposal (RFP)
Collection and accumulation of cost data in coordination with proposal team as well as functional departments
Research and analyze historical data from similar past performance programs
Assist in the developing of cost models and strategies associated with the bid/proposal

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Minimum of 5 years of Bid/Cost Proposal experience working on competitive proposals in excess of $25 Million
Experience with Pricing Tools used in cost development
Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS and other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Experience in proposal management and development, cost development, BOE development, and reading/writing/responding to RFIs and RFPs is essential
Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) process and the full business development lifecycle for US federal contractors
