Responsibilities

Oversee the ambulatory EHR as Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer (ACHIO)
Collaborate with leaders across the health system, including ambulatory practice, patient experience, provider wellbeing, and digital services
Align the structure, design, and strategy for the ambulatory EHR with enterprise goals
Teach medical students, residents, and fellows on clinical informatics and related topics
Conduct outpatient clinical practice in a pediatric setting, preferably in a pediatric subspecialty
Lead the Health Informatics team and report to the Chief Health Informatics Officer
Oversee EHR champions in primary and specialty care, including Clinical Director of EHR Platform and Medical Director of Primary Care EHR
Manage EHR SuperUser, Clinical Builders, and EHR Optimization programs
Participate in informatics governance structures and committees
Drive change across the enterprise by leading technology-related change initiatives

Required

Expertise in clinical informatics
Advanced training (e.g. fellowship, master's degree, PhD, or other advanced certification) in clinical informatics or related disciplines
M.D. or equivalent degree
Board certification or eligibility in Clinical Informatics (ABPM) or equivalent certification (AMIA AHIC certification)
Possess or be eligible to apply for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey
Experience conceiving and leading enterprise-wide technology-related change initiatives
Outstanding critical thinking, data-driven decision-making, and communication skills
Ability to fluently traverse and balance the needs of clinical care and the health system overall
Mind for process improvement, standardization, workflow optimization, and human-centered design

Preferred

Certifications in relevant EHR technologies
Active and relevant certifications in the Epic EHR
