Maryland Food Bank is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending hunger in Maryland. The Philanthropy Operations Coordinator supports donor communications and data accuracy, ensuring smooth gift processing and donor support through collaboration with the Philanthropy and Finance teams.

Responsibilities

Respond to donor inquiries via phone and email within one business day, ensuring a high level of customer service

Accurately enter daily donations into Raiser’s Edge NXT, applying appropriate attributions and designations

Collaborate with frontline fundraisers and the Finance team to confirm and communicate gift coding and purpose

Manage both in-house and vendor-produced donor acknowledgement letters, ensuring timely and accurate delivery

Assemble and distribute printed welcome packages for key donor segments in coordination with the Annual Fund and Front Desk teams

Update constituent information regularly, including address changes from returned mail or donor requests

Record and maintain donor interaction notes and actions in the CRM system

Identify opportunities to improve data processing and donor communication workflows; recommend and implement improvements

Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) as processes evolve and contribute to data integrity efforts across systems
