System Engineer (Aviation & Aerospace Manufacturing)
Troll Systems Corporation is seeking a System Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating radio frequency (RF) systems and components. The role includes determining system specifications, coordinating design subsystems, and ensuring compliance with performance standards.
Responsibilities
Determines system specifications: input/output processes and working parameters for electrical/hardware/software compatibility required by the customer
Assists in the coordination of the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Includes a variety of engineering and systems techniques including system testing
Incorporates technologies from multiple disciplines including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electro-magnetics, digital signal processing, and control theory
Recommend design changes to improve overall system performance
Responsible for the technical portion of the CRA (Change Request Authorization)
Responsible for creation and maintenance of the PDD (Product Definition Document) which may be stored electronically in a database
Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions
Responsible for system level evaluation and testing for compliance of components by specifications including the clarification of requirements for the test authors
Responsible for communication with customer/resident engineer regarding design definition in conjunction with the engineering lead/manager for the program
Responsible for communication with factory engineering, and validation engineering regarding design/test issues
Responsible for developing and executing Customer and Factory Acceptance test plans
Assist Program Managers with special assignments and engineering tasks in developing, prototyping, testing, and producing custom systems for specific project needs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
BCSC/BSEE/BSME/ISE/AE degree or equivalent technical degree in engineering or a minimum of 3 to 5 years as a Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Field Engineer, Electronics or Field Technician
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder for authorized access to controlled technology/data as subject to ITAR
Valid Driver's License
Valid passport
Proficient user of MS Office Suite, Teams, Asana
Preferred
Specific experience in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred
Proficient user of ERP, MRP, Adobe; uniPoint preferred
