Responsibilities
Write real software and collaborate with experienced engineers who provide guidance and opportunities for ownership
Be fully integrated into a team and regularly contribute to impactful deliverables
Help solve complex technical challenges at Amazon
Receive 1:1 mentorship from a full-time Amazonian for the entirety of your program tenure
Participate in part-time work during the school year and full-time work during the summer
Engage in bi-annual performance reviews designed to support ongoing growth and development
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Bachelor's or Master's degree program
Graduating June 2028 and beyond
Majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field
Ability to work year-round until graduation (part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer)
Able to start work in June 2026
Ability to work in person year-round at the New York corporate office. (This role is not offered remote or hybrid and all working hours must be in office)
Must be living within commutable distance to New York
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, or C++ including object-oriented design
Preferred
Previous technical internship(s), if applicable
Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
Ability to solve complex problems and work through ambiguity
