Responsibilities

Responsible for processes and procedures that drive customer satisfaction, quality, fulfillment, and direct material productivity savings
Troubleshoot and optimize non-traditional manufacturing processes. Working with complex, chemical process equipment to reduce/eliminate variation in key process parameters to improve part quality and process performance
Build intimate process knowledge to effectively evaluate and identify areas for improvement. Work with, and lead, cross-functional teams to implement these improvements
Learn and understand Lean Six Sigma methodologies in order to utilize them to drive improvement through the production area
Enhance and maintain technical knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of production equipment

Required

Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in a discipline as listed below
Following majors accepted: Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (without rounding)
GE Vernova will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening
Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen (as applicable)
GE Vernova will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this position

Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

GE Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
