Required

High school diploma or G.E.D

5 years relevant experience in data, crime, or intelligence analysis within law enforcement, intelligence agencies, or public safety settings, or research in public safety, or government service

Adept at using popular analytic software

Capable of quickly learning new programs

Knowledgeable in research and analysis techniques, including developing collection plans and applying critical thinking to complex data

Strong organizational skills, including managing multiple priorities, maintaining accurate records, and following instructions

Ability to work effectively with personnel at all levels and other agencies

Capacity to work semi-independently, prioritize tasks, and produce high-quality results with minimal supervision

Preferred

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, statistics, business or criminal intelligence, or related field of study

Experience in data, crime, or intelligence analysis within law enforcement, intelligence agencies or public safety settings or research in public safety, or government service

Proficiency in analytic software, Microsoft Office, and open-source tools

Familiarity in GIS mapping, presentation software, and data visualization techniques
