New Grad, Entry LevelSun Atlas Power is a logistics company seeking a Shipping Specialist to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. The role involves preparing shipping documents, scheduling shipments, computing freight costs, and maintaining inventory documentation.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for creating shipping documents, scheduling trucks (LTL, FTL, and parcel packages), and confirming shipments through our logistics programs
Assign order’s outbound shipment methods based on price, service, and timing
Communicate daily with Manager on order status, shipping status, and any issues pending
Compare identifying information such as weighs, counts, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, packing lists, or other records
Work alongside a team to ensure that the company’s promise to our customers is always kept

Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a shipping specialist or in a similar role in logistics
Strong understanding of shipping processes, carrier management, and international trade
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates sound decision-making
Superior organizational and documentation skills
Preferred
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping experience
