Responsibilities
Perform field services for soils, foundations, pavement sections, reinforced concrete, structural masonry, wood framing, structural steel and other special inspections, as applicable
Coordinate with contractors, and NOVA staff regarding execution of required services and result of testing and/or inspections, as applicable
Prepare detailed and complete daily field reports
Qualification
Required
SCDOT Level 1 and 2 Concrete Field Technician
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction inspection, with a focus on pile driving and bridge/roadway projects
Strong knowledge of SCDOT construction standards and procedures
Preferred
SCDOT Foundations preferred or ability to obtain quickly
