This role involves leading day-to-day IT operations, managing warehouse systems, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of automation and WMS platforms.

Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day IT operations supporting warehouse systems and infrastructure
Support and optimize WMS, WES, MHS, automation, and robotics platforms
Manage servers, desktops, printers, scanners, wireless devices, phones, and related hardware/software
Provide application support and help-desk escalation as needed
Monitor system performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
Ensure uptime, reliability, and security of all warehouse IT systems
Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with vendors when escalation is required
Lead or support system upgrades, rollouts, and WMS-related projects
Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and backup verification
Maintain cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance standards
Analyze business processes and help improve SOPs
Research and recommend new technologies and infrastructure enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of IT systems management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
Hands-on experience supporting warehouse automation and robotics
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially with Operations
Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management abilities
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and decision-making skills
Enterprise IT infrastructure and systems management
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
VMware and virtualized environments
Zebra printers, barcode scanners, and wireless devices
Strong experience supporting WMS, WES, and MHS (required)
Advanced Wi-Fi network configuration and troubleshooting
Operates calmly and effectively in high-pressure environments
Strong focus on security, compliance, and risk mitigation
Proactive maintenance mindset to minimize downtime
Analytical, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
Clear communicator with solid documentation and presentation ability
