Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and other entities
Conduct in-depth tax research and provide technical guidance on diverse tax issues
Assist with tax planning and deliver advisory services to clients
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Identify and communicate tax planning opportunities to clients proactively
Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
Mentor and train junior team members to support their professional development
Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned

Qualification

CPA certificationTax software proficiencyTax law knowledgePublic accounting experienceAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsDetail-orientedOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax, including expertise in individual (HNW), partnership, and trust & estate taxation
Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Proficiency with tax software and related technology tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Highly detail-oriented and organized

Preferred

CPA certification or active progress toward certification
