Start in 2026 SpringCITGO Petroleum Corporation is a recognized leader in the refining industry and operates under the well-known CITGO brand. The IT Co-op/Intern position will introduce the intern to the Refinery and the Information Technology Department, providing assistance to technical projects and services throughout their assignment.
Oil and Gas
Responsibilities
Performs and assists with hardware/software evaluations and implementations
Hardware/Software troubleshooting and user support
Workstation lease replacements
Testing and execution of Windows 10, MS Office365, and MS OneDrive upgrades
Custom application and database development, maintenance, and support
SharePoint team site development, support, and security analysis
Additional projects may be assigned, with regular status reports required
End of term presentation expected
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field with at least 30 hours completed prior to start of co-op (Sophomore, Junior, or Senior)
Overall GPA of 3.0 (Must provide proof of current GPA at time of hire to verify eligibility requirements are met)
Valid drivers' license
