Network Architects, LLC is an exciting IT firm located in the Kirkland area, rapidly growing and seeking multiple Desktop Support Specialists. The role involves maintaining server and network infrastructures, providing day-to-day support for employee systems, and staying current on emerging technologies to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

Maintain Windows server infrastructure, including backups, OS/firmware patching, and monitoring performance
Maintain network LAN/WAN infrastructures and monitoring performance
Maintain AD environment in our network and on subscribed services
Perform day-to-day support activities to maintain employee systems: telephony, desktop, and network access
Procure and deploy new software and hardware as needed
Maintain software licensing, as well as a license library to track available and used resources
Train employees in the use of software and hardware as needed
Provide clear and calm support in the event of an emergency
Stay current on emerging technology, and be able to provide recommendations for future technology investments
Interact with employees to understand the way they perform work, and seek creative ways to improve our workflows with technology

Required

Firm understanding of M365, Windows Server (basic AD/DNS/DHCP/GroupPolicy), Windows 10/11 support
Experience working with Server 2016, 2019, 2022
Experience with Active Directory
Experience with Exchange
Experience with Remote Desktop
Experience with Office 365
Experience with VPN
Experience with Software Upgrades
Experience with Network Backups
Experience with Ticketing System (ConnectWise, etc.)
Experience with N-able monitoring, Datto Backup
Great attention to detail and documentation
