Responsibilities

Be responsible for the care of cattle at the Klosterman Feedlot Innovation Center and Beef Systems Unit
Perform tasks associated with daily feeding and animal health
Assist with general construction and maintenance of equipment and facilities
Assist graduate students with research trials
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Cattle handlingFeedlot experienceFarm equipment operationAgricultural experienceAssociates degree in agriculture

Required

High school diploma plus one year of agricultural experience required; equivalent education/experience considered
Experience working with cattle and/or feedlot experience
Experience operating farm and feeding equipment
Valid driver's license and ability to meet University driver eligibility criteria

Preferred

Associates degree in agriculture or related field
