Responsibilities
Lead the development and ownership of reporting tools derived from ERP system data to drive insight, action, and accountability across the department
Independently identify, design, and implement process improvements and automation tools that enhance operational efficiency, reduce exceptions, and streamline workflows
Develop and deliver training, tools, and documentation to equip team members with the knowledge and resources needed to resolve issues effectively and consistently
Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on ERP systems and financial process improvements; monitor system performance and lead enhancements to optimize business outcomes
Collaborate cross-functionally to solve business challenges and ensure alignment between system capabilities and business needs, promoting best practices and ERP functionality across teams
Conduct audits and reviews to validate payment accuracy and process compliance, taking ownership of timely issue resolution and improvement recommendations
Own the department's reporting cadence, ensuring leadership has the visibility needed through timely standard and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
Support strategic initiatives and special projects, applying analytical thinking and leadership to deliver impactful results
Lead the development and ownership of reporting tools derived from ERP system data to drive insight, action, and accountability across the department
Collaborate closely with onsite teams and participate in onsite meetings to drive departmental objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a business-related or technical field, or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of experience in an analytical role within accounting or financial operations (A/P, A/R, G/L)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new system applications
Experience working with databases and exporting data to Excel
Demonstrates strong self-direction and initiative
Applies critical thinking to evaluate complex data and processes
Possesses deep understanding of financial processes and ERP systems
Effectively conveys insights, recommendations, and process changes to various stakeholders
Builds strong partnerships across teams, offering expertise and support to drive shared goals
Typical activities may include prolonged periods of sitting or standing, using a computer, and occasional movement within the workplace
Requires clear verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and others
Must be able to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing demands
Requires strong organizational skills, dependability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Must demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion
Preferred
Strongly preferred experience includes process improvement initiatives, automation projects, and ERP system usage and optimization
