The role involves operating powder coat, paint, or other equipment to apply industrial powder coat or paint on metals or products according to specified work orders, while following safety procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

Operate powder coat, paint, or other equipment to apply industrial powder coat or paint on metals or products according to the specified work order and other duties as assigned
Follow required safety procedures at all times
Work in the areas of shot blast operator, powder painter, caulker, blow off operator, loader/unloader, masker/demasker and pre-inspector

Qualification

Shot blast operationsFabrication powder coat paintingTop coat applicationBlueprint readingElectrostatic paint application

Required

Prior work experience
Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

Preferred

Experience in shot blast operations
Experience in fabrication powder coat painting
Experience in top coat, prime coat and electrostatic paint
Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings
