Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and well being of individuals in our care
Provide supervision to direct care staff and monitoring the daily operation of assigned program and ensuring they comply with all regulatory guidelines and professional standards
Provides crisis prevention and intervention services to the program
Ensure the practice of following all guidelines set forth by Devereux and it's licensing authorities
Participates in the orientation of new employees to unit, delegates assignments and empowers others to take ownership of their work
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, health, recreation, criminal justice, counseling; and a minimum of two years direct care experience; OR 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above), and three years direct care experience
Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required
