Responsibilities
Providing advice and counsel to employers
Handling single-plaintiff, complex, collective, and/or class action litigation
Advising employers on traditional labor, restrictive covenants, wage and hour law, leaves and accommodations, and other employment law topics
Handling employment law litigation, with an emphasis on single-plaintiff, complex and/or class and collective action matters
Managing multiple matters simultaneously
Qualification
Required
3-6 years' high-caliber experience representing employers in various types of labor and employment matters
Experience advising employers on traditional labor, restrictive covenants, wage and hour law, leaves and accommodations, and other general—but sophisticated—employment law topics
Experience handling employment law litigation, with an emphasis on single-plaintiff, complex and/or class and collective action matters, with a preference for those who have handled court conferences, depositions, mediations, dispositive motions, and trials
Excellent writing and communication skills that allow you to advocate effectively with clients and on their behalf
A desire to work hard for discerning clients and with exceptional colleagues, all of whom expect the very best from the lawyers on their team
Intellectual curiosity and high emotional intelligence
Excellent academic credentials and solid work ethic
Stellar analytical skills and good judgment
Experience providing recommendations and practical business solutions to clients
The ability to walk and chew gum at the same time, i.e., the skills to manage multiple matters simultaneously
Admission to the New York bar is required
Preferred
Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
New Jersey, Pennsylvania and/or Connecticut bar admission is a plus
