Responsibilities

Design and execute in vivo experiments in the CNS space
Lead the development of mouse and/or rat models of CNS disease
Screen potential therapeutics in vivo
Represent the In Vivo Pharmacology team in program team meetings
Work collaboratively with programs leads and representatives from other teams
Present findings in program team meetings and in company-wide meetings

Qualification

Required

PhD plus 2-3 years' experience (or equivalent) working in the CNS space
Strong knowledge of CNS biology and disease models
Ability to perform Intravenous, Intrathecal, Intra-Cisterna Magna, and/or Intracerebroventricular injections in rats and/or mice
Ability to perform brain dissections and isolate different parts of the brain for analysis
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-team environment
Ability to perform ex vivo analysis of tissues (RT-qPCR, western blot, ELISA)
Strong record-keeping and presentation skills

Preferred

Experience in industry or drug-discovery
