Responsibilities
Design and implement real-time, production-ready software in C++ for advanced robotic systems
Integrate low-level sensor and firmware data with higher-level control and autonomy logic
Develop, refine, and validate kinematics, dynamics, estimation, and actuation modules
Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis for complex hardware-software interactions
Build APIs for communication between control systems, simulation environments, and physical robots
Document system architecture, software design, and implementation details thoroughly
Ensure software reliability through rigorous code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration practices
Contribute to the company’s culture by demonstrating curiosity, integrity, passion, humility, and creativity in all engineering work
Qualification
Required
Expert-level proficiency in modern C++ with object-oriented design, multi-threading, and Linux-based development
Strong foundation in robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, control theory, estimation, and system identification
Experience with rigid-body motion, coordinate frame transformations, and motion planning
Familiarity with robotics frameworks and tools such as MuJoCo, Drake, Eigen, or ROS
Skilled in software testing methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile environments with sprint planning and collaborative code reviews
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in robotics software development
