Graphic Services Research Intern - IT Research and Innovation
Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Graphic Services Research Intern to support their Graphic Services activities under the supervision of Dr. Will Ray. The intern will assist in research studies, gather and analyze data, prepare reports, and perform administrative tasks while maintaining a clean laboratory area and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Obtains supplies and equipment needed for research projects and ensures they in proper working condition
Assists in laboratory analysis and data interpretation
Assists in the preparation and drafting of research proposals and reports, collecting and collating supporting data
Organizes and maintains laboratory records
Maintains clean laboratory area and equipment
Follows all safety protocols and procedures
Qualification
Required
Experience with graphic design, layout and related software
Experience with at least one visual/studio-arts modality, formal training is ideal
Experience with general and biomedical/anatomical illustration in traditional, mixed media and digital vector formats
Knowledge of human anatomy. Knowledge of cellular microanatomy and molecular structure representations is ideal
Experience with motion graphics and computer animation, and/or traditional animation, videography and editing is ideal
Experience with complex data visualization and at least one data-visualization programming language (Python, Processing, etc) is desirable
Interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to interact efficiently with various audiences
Enrollment in High School or an accredited undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program, preferred
