Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end forecasting and budgeting process, owning models that predict customer demand, sales, and order volume across multiple business units
Analyze historical trends, seasonal patterns, and market dynamics to generate reliable, forward-looking forecasts
Partner with merchandising, supply chain, and operations to ensure forecast accuracy and optimize resource planning
Identify data-driven opportunities for revenue growth, cost savings, and operational improvements
Collaborate with stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Product to identify data needs, align goals, and deliver valuable insights
Communicate analytical findings clearly and effectively to executives and non-technical audiences, helping drive informed decisions at the highest level
Act as the key bridge between technical analytics and strategic business planning
Build and implement a robust data governance framework that ensures data integrity, security, accessibility, and compliance across the organization
Define and enforce data policies, standards, and stewardship roles that promote consistent, trusted data usage
Lead, coach, and inspire a team of high-performing data analysts; foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
Champion professional development and create a psychologically safe environment where diverse ideas are valued
Establish scalable processes and workflows that enable your team to thrive in a growing, agile environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
7+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling tools
Strong experience with data visualization platforms like Power BI
Strong commercial mindset with the ability to link data insights to business strategy and ROI
Excellent communicator and presenter; able to influence senior leadership and collaborate across departments
Strong analytical thinker with a bias toward action and the ability to make strategic decisions under ambiguity
Preferred
Master's degree is a strong plus
Prior experience in e-commerce, retail, grocery, or consumer insights is highly desirable
Understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline tools (e.g., Big Query, Snowflake, DBT) is a plus
