Responsibilities
Assist with claims and help resolve billing issues
Ensure new business, renewals, and broker of record letters meet carrier requirements
Process plan changes submitted by account executives, broker consultants, and brokers, including policy changes, endorsements, and other requests
Process new business applications, ensuring accurate and timely installation by the vendor
Maintain commission and client databases; create case files of critical client information according to workflow standards
Stay up to date on insurance regulations, carrier plan options, underwriting rules, and other value-added programs offered by Emerson Rogers
Receive guidance and support from team mentors
Participate in program trainings to build expertise for the Ancillary Broker Liaison role
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree required
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and ability to take on significant responsibility
