The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) supports Ohioans and their families through various programs. They are seeking a .NET Software Developer to modernize the Support Enforcement and Tracking System (SETS) by migrating a complex mainframe solution to a cloud-based, microservices-driven architecture, while ensuring data integrity and application security.

Responsibilities

Design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET(C#)/.NET Core and related frameworks

Build RESTful APIs and microservices tailored for deployment in Azure Container Apps (ACA)

Develop data access logic using SQL Server, including stored procedures, functions, and optimized queries

Implement CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate build, test, deployment, and release processes

Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment with best practices across the development lifecycle

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and reliability

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives

Required

Completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems

42 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews and ensuring application development standards are met

Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems

36 months combined work experience in any combination of the following: assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews and ensuring application development standards are met

Equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above
