They are seeking a highly motivated self-starter Associate Analyst to join their Investment Data & Analytics Team, responsible for overseeing daily analytics reports and supporting data and analytics as part of the investment process.

Responsibilities
Liaise with various groups, including Risk, Investment Teams, Compliance, etc. on daily production and key initiatives
Partake in conversations related to team projects and initiatives
Ensure prompt responses to investment data requests from key customers, including traders, portfolio managers, sales, and client service personnel
Responsible for producing recurring and ad hoc fixed income analytics reports to internal and external stakeholders, applying knowledge of fixed income to assess accuracy
Liaise with key vendors to establish recurring touchpoints to raise outstanding items and key topics. Drive the coordination of enhancements within the investment platform with the vendor
Partake in conversations to develop knowledge of investment data concepts including aspects of Duration, Yield, and overall ability to tie the structure of the asset to the analytics that are produced within an analytics model
Bring a fresh perspective on existing issues, processes, and controls to develop and recommend new and improved controls and procedural enhancements
Develop understanding of existing SQL data warehouse and work with data vendors and IT to expand and enhance data structures. Complete thorough testing for data changes and oversee changes to production data streams
Support transition to snowflake through validation of production data
Improve existing data requests by automating through Excel, SQL, and APIs. Build out dashboards to easily visualize and pull large sets of data for proposal data requests
Troubleshoot data discrepancies between various data sources, create quality checks to proactively ensure data quality
Qualification
Required
Progress toward Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
Highly effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to problem solve, execute process improvements resulting in robust processes
Demonstrated knowledge and/or ability to learn investment products
Ability to collaborate across teams to devise comprehensive solutions
Ability to multi-task, set direction and thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic that is eager to develop and learn
An analytical mindset, strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel skills required; SQL skills, a plus
Preferred
Interest or progress toward CFA, a plus
