Responsibilities
Performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems
Documenting and calculating results accurately
Taking corrective action when necessary
Alert appropriate personnel to adjust process
Identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product
Report results to management
Any additional assignments requested
Responsible for safety, including personal safety and food safety
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months of processing experience
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
Good problem identification and problem solving skills
Math and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret product specifications
Must function well under stress
Must have flexibility to work where and when needed (Cross training is mandatory)
Intermediate skill level with use of hand held devices (to include but not limited to Ipads, scanners, scales, thermometers, and calculators)
Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more)
Ability to ascend and descend several flights of stairs daily
