The Setup Technician is responsible for the maintenance of machinery and equipment, including troubleshooting machinery errors and ensuring quality during production processes.

Responsibilities
Add, remove and adjust packaging machinery, such as case erector, bottle sorter, date code machinery, and cappers, to run various sizes of product and liquid fill packaging production cells
Troubleshoot machine and auxiliary equipment problems, during setup/change-over, and make necessary changes to ensure quality and reduce downtime
Organizing change parts and maintaining areas as directed by management to facilitate rapid changeover protocols
Promote safety by abiding by all related policies and procedures and set a good example for others
Qualification
Required
Technical Degree or equivalent educational/military experience
1 – 3 yrs. prior Setup/Change-Over Technician experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word & Excel
Must be able to regularly lift 55 lbs
Must be able to stand / walk for an entire eight hour shift
Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment
Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly
Preferred
Liquid filling Machine experience strongly preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful
