Responsibilities
Assist with hydrocarbon extraction, distillation, and other lab processes under the supervision of the Lab Manager or Lead
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration, cleanliness, and preventative maintenance
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient lab operations
Maintain accurate and detailed records of lab activities, including extraction runs, test results, and inventory management
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED required
Experience in a laboratory or production environment, preferably in the cannabis industry
Basic understanding of cannabis extraction principles and equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with strict adherence to safety protocols
Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork mentality
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which includes a pre-employment background check
Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID card
Preferred
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) a bonus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
